The third General Conference of the International Microsimulation Association will be hosted by Statistics Sweden and the Swedish Mininstry of Finance and will take place in the City Conference Center in Stockholm, Sweden from June 8th to 10th, 2011.
The conference focuses on microsimulation models and their applications. The conference is of interest to both creators and users of microsimulation models in authorities, government departments and companies. It will consist of a range of plenary sessions. A number of moderated panel discussions on topics of general interest to the microsimulation modeling community are also planned.

With the rapid progress of location based services, geographic information systems, and ubiquitous computing technologies, the space that we are dealing with is no longer limited to outdoor space but being extended to indoor space. Indoor space has some differences from outdoor space, most notably by its relevant third dimension, but also by its privately regulated accessibility. Therefore to provide integrated seamless services across spaces it is required to establish new theories, data models, and systems. For this reason, research has begun to extend the scope of LBS and GIS to indoor space for the applications such as indoor orientation and navigation services, emergency management, indoor space management and 3D cadastre. This workshop is intended to bring together researchers, developers, and practitioners carrying out research and development related to the topic of indoor spatial awareness and to provide a forum for interdisciplinary discussions in all aspects of in!
door spatial awareness.
The topics of workshop include (but are not limited to) the following topics:
* indoor spatial data models
* handling moving objects in indoor space
* positioning, tracking and navigation in indoor space
* indexing and query processing of indoor spatial databases
* construction of indoor spatial databases
* context-awareness in indoor space

Information for authors
The workshop solicits regular papers and work-in-progress papers. Submissions must be original and must not be under consideration for publication in any other forum. Papers must be formatted using the ACM camera-ready templates available at http://www.acm.org/sigs/pubs/proceed/template.html, and are limited to 8 and 4 pages, respectively. They must be submitted in PDF format via the EasyChair system, at http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=isa20100.
Acceptance will be based on relevance to the workshop and technical quality, originality, and potential impact, as well as clarity of presentation. All submitted papers will be assigned to at least 3 referees.
The workshop also solicits demo papers that describe demonstrations of prototype systems of relevance to the workshop. Such papers must be formatted and submitted as described above, but are limited to 2 pages. In addition to relevance to the workshop, acceptance will be based on perceived interest to the workshop participants and the value of the demonstration.
Authors of accepted full and work-in-progress papers will be given the opportunity to also demonstrate prototype systems at the workshop and thus do not need to also submit corresponding demo papers.
The proceedings of the workshops will be published jointly with the conference proceedings and will appear in the ACM Digital Library. One author per accepted workshop contribution is required to register for the workshop and the conference, as well as attend the workshop to present the accepted submission. Otherwise, the accepted submission will not appear in the workshop proceedings.

Session Abstract: It is known that the health of people is heavily influenced by their surrounding environment. Therefore, research in the area of health geography is a broad and fast growing research discipline addressing topics such as the spread of diseases, health facility planning, adequate allocation of resources, tackling health inequalities and how the environment may influence people’s health. There are different ways on how to approach health geography research and one is to use quantitative methods, which are highly supportive in this research area.
Hence, this session seeks abstracts in the area of health/medical geography with the focus on quantitative methods. Attention should be given to the development of new methods in the area of health geography and also on various application areas where quantitative methods play a major role. Therefore, papers are invited but not limited to the following topics:

The 3rd International Conference on Computer Supported Education steering committee cordially invites you to submit a paper to the CSEDU-2011 Conference, to be held in Noordwijkerhout, The Netherlands. The deadline for paper submission is September 30th, 2010.
The CSEDU program will include a number of Keynote Lectures to be delivered by distinguished world-class researchers. Their names are now available at the conference Website (list not yet complete).
Last year's edition of CSEDU received 304 paper submissions from 64 countries in all continents. After reviewing, only 30 papers were selected to be published and presented as full papers, i.e. completed work (8 pages in proceedings / 30' oral presentations) and 79 papers, describing work-in-progress, were selected as short papers for 20' oral presentation leading to a total oral paper acceptance ratio of less than 36%. These ratios denote a high level of quality, which we intend to maintain or reinforce in the next edition of this conference. EJNR
Submitted papers will be subject to a double-blind review process. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, under an ISBN reference, on paper and CD-ROM support.
All presented papers will be also available at the SciTePress Digital Library (http://www.scitepress.org/DigitalLibrary/).
Best paper awards will be distributed during the conference closing session
