The 55th Annual Mid-Continent Regional Science Association (MCRSA) Conference and the 17th IMPLAN National Users Conference scheduled for June 4-6, 2025 at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. It will be a joint conference with the Midwest Public Affairs Conference (MPAC). An IMPLAN training session is scheduled for June 2-4 prior to the conference. Below and attached please find information about submitting a presentation and our student paper competition. We are also seeking nominations for awards to be presented at the conference.

The program committee welcomes papers on a wide range of topics relating to applied economics, economic development, planning, geography, business, public administration, sociology, and political science. Award Nominations:
Please submit your nominations for the Mid-Continent Regional Science Association (MCRSA) Awards. Below are the open-nomination award categories:
(1) MCRSA Distinguished Service Award: This award acknowledges outstanding service to the Association. It is designed to honor individuals who have demonstrated exceptionally meritorious and sustained service on behalf of MCRSA.
(2) Early Career Award: Open to active MCRSA members with less than ten years of post-Ph.D. professional experience, this award aims to recognize the significant contributions made by newer members to the Association and/or the discipline of Regional Science.
(3) Distinguished Fellow: This category is reserved for members in good standing with a history of MCRSA support and participation, having made substantial contributions to the broader discipline of Regional Science. Individuals with outstanding records of scholarship, service to the profession, and active participation within the Association for the advancement of regional analysis and related fields may be elected as a Fellow by the Board of Directors.
