The Greek Section of the European Regional Science Association (ERSA) in collaboration with the Department of Geography of the University of Aegean organise and host the 30th ERSA Summer School between 9-15 July 2017 in Lesvos island, Greece.
The aim of the week-long Summer School is to provide PhD students and early career researchers with an overview and hands-on practical lab experience of the use of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Geoinformatics in Regional Science. The programme will include lectures from distinguished scholars, PhD students and early career researchers' presentations as well as special sessions on 'how to
publish your research in international peer reviewed journals'. Thanks to the generous support of the Regional Science Association International and ERSA, the €200 registration fee for successful applicants covers the cost of accommodation, lunch and social events.
