Call for Special Session Proposals

11th World Congress of the Regional Science Association International (RSAI)

April 25-28, 2016, Istanbul, Turkey

Special sessions on cutting-edge and frontier topics in Regional Science and Regional Science Policy are welcomed by the organisers. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) for proposals of special sessions.

Discussants are required for each presentation in special sessions.

Special Session Proposal Format

Proposals for special sessions should include:

The special session title

The name(s) of the organizer(s), with affiliation(s) and email(s) (identifying the chair)

The aim and scope of the special session (500 words)

Abstracts Submission Process(see also the example of the call for paper)

Authors submit abstracts for special sessions through session Organizers.

The organizers of the special session should ask for:

• title;
• authors(s);
• affiliations and emails (indicate the presenter and corresponding author);
• three keywords;
• abstract (400-500 words).

Abstract submission deadline: November 29th, 2015

Notification of acceptance of abstract: December 20th, 2015

After the abstract submission deadline the organizer(s) should send all the submissions to secretariat of the Congress at This email address is being protected from spambots. The secretariat will insert the data in the CONFERENCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM and give full access to the organizer for the management of the abstracts.
