Useful Information
Passport and Entry Visa
As of April 17, 2013, electronic visa (e-Visa) replaces “sticker visa” which was issued at the border crossings. Applicants just need to log on to www.evisa.gov.tr, provide the requested information, (after the application is approved) make online payment and download their e-Visa.

Transportation to Istanbul
Turkish Airlines and many other world airlines have regular daily flights to Istanbul. Istanbul has two international airports: Ataturk Airport (on the European side) and Sabiha Gokcen Airport (on the Asian Side).
If you travel through the Sabiha Gokcen Airport, please keep in mind that you would need to across the bridge which might have heavy traffic during the day.
When organizing your flight back, please consider that you would need to reach to the airport at least 2 hours prior of your flight.

Military Museum & Culture Center
Harbiye, Istanbul
The Military Museum is located in Harbiye, Istanbul. During the last period of the Ottoman Empire, it is the site of the Ottoman Imperial Military Academy. It is composed of the historical buildings of“Military Museum & Culture Center” and “The Chief of Staff Military History and Strategic Research Ministry (ATASE).”
Built as a War College in 1841, this historic building was home to many of the leading commanders of the late 19th century, including Atatürk, the Founder of the Republic. Renovated during the mid 1980’s the building has now become one of the country’s most elegant cultural centers, with high ceilings and antique furniture from the late Ottoman period tastefully complemented by modern meeting and exhibition facilities.
Getting to the Conference Venue:

There is direct bus connection line "96 T" from Istanbul Atatürk Airport to the city centre in Istanbul. Bus costs approximately 1 EUR The journey from the airport to the central station takes about 1 hour and depends on the traffic.
By Metro
The metro station is located at the Ataturk International Airport. To reach Taksim Square and Congress neighborhood, please take M1 Metro line from Airport to Yenikapı interchange station and take M2 metro line from Yenikapı.
