Special Session Proposals
Special sessions on cutting-edge and frontier topics in Regional Science and Regional Science Policy are welcomed by the organisers. Please contact (2016worldcongress@regionalscience.org) and Tüzin Baycan, Chair of the Local Organizing Committee (tbaycan@itu.edu.tr) for proposals of special sessions.
Discussants are required for each presentation in special sessions.

Proposals for special sessions should include:

Special session proposals should be sent by November 1st, 2015 to the secretariat of the Congress at 2016worldcongress@regionalscience.org and to the Chair of the Local Organizing Committee tbaycan@itu.edu.tr.
Abstracts Submission Process (see also the example of the call for paper)
Authors submit abstracts for special sessions through session Organizers.
The organizers of the special session should ask for:
Abstract submission deadline: November 29th, 2015
Notification of acceptance of abstract: December 20th, 2015
After the abstract submission deadline the organizer(s) should send all the submissions to secretariat of the Congress at 2016worldcongress@regionalscience.org and to the Chair of the Local Organizing Committee tbaycan@itu.edu.tr.
The secretariat will insert the data in the CONFERENCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM and give full access to the organizer for the management of the abstracts.
Discussants are required for each presentation in special sessions.

- The special session title
- The name(s) of the organizer(s), with affiliation(s) and email(s) (identifying the chair)
- The aim and scope of the special session (500 words)

- affiliations and emails (indicate the presenter and corresponding author);
- three keywords;
- abstract (400-500 words).
