Call for papers for RSPP Special Issue “Challenges and policies for Middle-income trap regions”
Dear Colleagues,
the 7th Cohesion Report of the European Commission highlighted the development challenges of a group of middle-income EU regions, and the risk for those regions to be caught in the so-called ‘middle-income trap.
The Regional Science Policy & Practice - RSPP (RSPP) special issue: Challenges and policies for Middle-income trap regions (guest editors Andres Rodriguez-Pose and Vinko Muštra): wishes to analyse and provide robust evidence for the existence of the middle income trap among the regions, but also to help understanding the key determinants and identify adequate policy responses.
The proper platform for presenting scientific novelty and the policy relevance of the proposed papers will be the 13th International Conference: “Challenges of Europe: Growth, Competitiveness, Innovation and Well-being” (22-24, May 2019, Bol, island Brač, Croatia).
Authors are invited to send their abstract until the 4th of February 2019. Abstract and full papers have to be submitted through the on-line submission system available at: https://moj.efst.hr/ConferenceSubmissionSystem/
Submissions by e-mail, fax or regular mail will not be taken into consideration.
The papers will be selected, after the presentation at the Conference, by 28th of September 2019 and papers should be submitted to the regular review process of the journal until 16th of December 2019.
