Social Science Positions in the U.S. Census Bureau, Population Division

The Population Division of the U.S. Census Bureau, U.S. Department of Commerce, has immediate openings in its domestic and international programs for qualified individuals in the areas of geography, demography, sociology,

and related social sciences. We are looking for well-qualified persons at all levels (BA, MA, PhD), especially those with training in demography, geographic information systems, quantitative data analysis of large datasets, and sociology/social research. These openings offer qualified applicants an opportunity to work on one or more of the following topics: population distribution, population estimates and projections, migration, and international programs.
